Wall
With so much division in the news at the moment, I was drawn to the idea of the physical barriers that prevent freedom, and the separation of families. Throughout history we have used walls to divide communities, and I wanted to suggest that these walls can be broken with enough determination.

Escape
Often we can feel trapped in our lives, repeating the same two-dimensional tasks every day with no respite in view. I explored this idea of an anonymous stickman, and its attempt t break free from mundanity and unleash its superpower.

Amfexa
“Amfexa” is a very personal piece. I was diagnosed with ADHD in late 2023, a surprise only to me! Since being prescribed a stimulant medication I realised just how messy and tangled my mind has been for all of my life. I had no idea that this clarity of thought and order was possible. Amfexa has given me the freedom from the constant chaos inside my head to start living a different kind of life and is, ironically, the only reason I was able to complete this piece of work.

Enough to See…
“Enough to See… Not Enough to See By” was an exhibition at the Bevere Gallery in Worcester.

‘Enough to see but not enough to see by’ is a quotation from ‘House of Leaves’ by Mark Danielewski.
